This season, we have the immense pleasure of welcoming some new faces, and re-connecting with familiar ones, to the Cowboys family. They are not just players; they are a part of our extended family, representing our heritage and making us proud with every tackle, block, and sack.<\/p>\n
First, let’s give a thunderous Dallas welcome to the new blood:<\/p>\n
Ajani Cornelius, OT \u2022 #69:<\/b> A rookie sensation, Ajani joins us directly from the college ranks, ready to bring his power and skill to the offensive line. We’re excited to see him develop and become a cornerstone of the Cowboys’ future.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Adedayo Odeleye, DE \u2022 Dev:<\/b> Another promising talent, Adedayo is part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway program. He’s here to learn, grow, and show the world the raw talent that comes from our heritage. We’ll be following his journey closely!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n And let’s not forget our returning champions, who have already cemented their place in Dallas lore:<\/p>\n Hakeem Adeniji, OT \u2022 #75:<\/b> A veteran presence on the offensive line, Hakeem has been with the Cowboys since last season. His experience and dedication are invaluable to the team, and we’re counting on him to anchor the line and protect our quarterback.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE \u2022 #41:<\/b> Donovan is a second-year player, having joined the team last season. We’ve already seen flashes of his explosive speed and relentless motor. He’s a player on the rise, and we’re excited to see him wreak havoc in the backfield.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Osa Odighizuwa, DT \u2022 #97:<\/b> The longest-tenured of our Nigerian contingent, Osa has been a force on the defensive line since his rookie year in 2021. His powerful play and infectious energy have made him a fan favorite, and he’s a true leader on and off the field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n These players carry more than just the Cowboys star on their helmets; they carry the pride of Nigeria. Many of them have spoken passionately about their heritage, acknowledging the strength, resilience, and spirit of the Nigerian people. They are a testament to the fact that our roots can propel us to the highest levels of success, no matter where we are in the world.<\/p>\n To Hakeem, Ajani, Donovan, Osa, and Adedayo, we extend our best wishes for an incredible, injury-free season.
